Helping the Patient:  We identify factors that have the potential to interfere with the patient's response to treatment, perception of pain and functional impairment. We assist in the transition process by addressing fears and anxieties associated with injury, rehabilitation and adjustment to altered functional ability levels. Working with the patient, we explore techniques to ease their anxiety and delineate appropriate responses to maximize their treatment outcome. Helping the Physician: We provide initial evaluation, psychological testing and objective data delineating the patient’s symptomology, which can assist in pre-authorization for additional services as needed such as Work Conditioning, Work Hardening and/or Chronic Pain Management. Through on-going clinical case management, we may identify the patients that possess high-risk factors for non-compliance and unrealistic treatment expectations, minimizing the potential for unwarranted complaints and/or malpractice suits. We assist you in providing a multidisciplinary approach to your treatment protocol, maximizing the overall effectiveness of your treatment and your patient’s outcome and satisfaction.
